BBQ Wings cooking question?
I do not like wings, therefore I’ve never made them haha but my family is coming over for the football game today and dad requested bbq wings. So my mom told me that the easiest way for a beginner would be to just go buy some ( she was kidding ). I didn’t want to attempt to make them from scratch so I purchased some Tyson Chicken Wings … they are already cut in half and it says to just put the frozen wings in the oven etc etc. I bought a few bottles of my dad’s favorite bbq sauce. So … what do I do?? Bake the wings first til done? Then slather the sauce on it?? How do I make them sticky kinda like the ones he gets at the restaurant? By cooking them longer? Thanks so much for your help! I have no idea what Im doing!
Quick question … the package says to keep frozen til ready to cook. But you said to thaw them out? I’m confused haha.

Place the frozen chicken wings in a 10×15 inch baking dish and bake, uncovered, in a 400 degree preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes (until browned and crisp). Turn occasionally. Drain off the fat. Top or brush with barbeque sauce, return to oven for about 15 – 20 minutes. With a slotted spoon, transfer the wings to a platter for serving. Heat extra barbeque sauce for dipping.

thaw the wings out, and marinate them in the sauce. Overnight is usually better, but obviously you don’t have that option, so leave them marinating for as long as you can. they will only take an hour to cook in the oven on about 180 celcius. make sure you turn them often so they don’t stick to the pan. the marinate will make them "sticky"

cook the wings first and then 10 min before you are ready to take them out slather the sauce all over them and bake for the rest of the time .Next time listen to your Mother LOL!!

Thaw the wings before trying to cook them.
There are a lot of different methods for cooking wings, Frying, Baking, Grilling, Smoking, etc.
I’ve got some of the ways on my website: http://www.capnrons.com/R_M_WingsMain.html/?id=ya
This is about how to cook them, and not the sauces.
If you want to use your Dad’s favorite sauce, and make it sticky sweet like the restaurant, you could add a little honey to it prior to adding.
I don’t cook the wings with the sauce on them, but put it on after they’ve been cooked. That is what most restaurants would do.
