Is chopped steak any different than cooking a jumbo hamburger patti? Any recipes?
I’d like to make a chopped steak that tastes like what the restaurants sell. Any recipes? Does it need to be a certain grade hamburger or what exactly is chopped steak? Thanks!

hmm. I’m guessing it might be "cubed steak" which is going to have way less fat in it than hamburger or even gr. sirloin has. I dont think I’ve ever had chopped steak at a restaurant.

chopped steak is usually leaner
soak some bread in milk
add 1 egg per pound
squeeze out milk
mix meat egg and bread
add some soy sauce
mix thoroughly
shape into patties
and cook

I’d use ground round steak for the burger
Cut up the round steak into cubes, and ground them with onion, rosemary, salt and pepper, bread pieces and milk in a blender to make the hamburger patties
