What are your top 3 favorite dishes at PF Changs and The Cheesecake Factory?

I’m cooking for a large group of people over the next two weeks, I want to highlight a few dishes during that period. I’ve always enjoyed eating at both these restaurants and most people rave about their food. Let me know what dishes are your favorite, and if you have the recipes for them, that would get great too.

How come most Thai restaurants don't cook with real Thai Chili Paste in the Prik King dishes anymore?

I go to Thai Restaurants all over the country, and it seems they have all switched from paste to a broth style in that dish.
Sub question: to be more accurate, it’s probably the time saved vs cost for why they don’t use the paste anymore. anyone know a Thai Restaurant that still does use chili paste in the Prik King dishes?

i’m in San Diego, but travel all over.

Romanian cooking and foods?

Why don't people that need to eat more veges turn to Chinese food?

Chinese vege dishes are the best tasting and has the most variety. Most American families don’t know how to cook their veges. We just steam them or boil them. No wonder our kids don’t like veges. If you dive into the Chinese menu in the restaurants and in Chinese FAMILY HOMES (they cook different stuff if u didn’t know) you would find that all the veges all just out of this world. It just make sense to eat Chinese style veges because of the quality, freshness, and variety. They eat all the veges that Americans eat PLUS their own.

I think the problem is that many people haven’t had more ‘real’ Chinese food so many don’t know what I am talking about. I think it is time to incorporate Chinese cooking styles into American homes.

Agree?
noyb

THERE IS NO MSG IN THE REAL CHINESE RESTAURANTS.

you are probably one of those white americans who order kung pao chicken and sweet and sour crap. All these all made here to cater to our taste…they are fake.

AND NO…there is not a lot of oil in Chinese cooking.

You think eating salads with dressing is healthier?!! I think NOT!

How do I cook tofu like they do at Chinese/pan-Asian restaurants?

I want to make those really crisp, delicious tofu cubes like you get in stir-fry and other dishes. I bought a brick of firm tofu for this, but I don’t know how to cook it yet.

Thanks

What kind of noodles and cooking sauce/seasonings do hibachi/teppanyaki chefs use for stir fry?

I am absolutely in love with teppanyaki meals at out local Japanese Steakhouse restaurant. I am trying to recreate the dishes at home, but I am struggling with the stir fry noodles. I bought udon noodles last time, but they are definitely not the same taste or texture. I realize that all the places might use different noodles, but I was hoping that someone knows what kind of noodles I need to buy to make this awesome stir fry for myself.

Also, the noodles they used at this restaurant were yellow. Oh and maybe someone might know what kind of cooking spices or sauces they use? Thanks!
